How to open a terminal

Ubuntu has a terminal program from which you can type commands or run scripts. (Feel free to use X11 as well.) The default terminal is a BASH terminal. (But feel free to use Cshell if you want.) To open the terminal,

Click Applications --> Accessories --> Terminal
